ABOUT US

Evooschool was founded in Rome by the will of Coldiretti National Confederation and the National Association of  Agrotechnicians and Graduated Agrotechnicians.

Evooschool is also supported by Campagna Amica Foundation and Unaprol – Consortium of Olive Producers’ Organizations.

The Foundation aims to advance the olive-growing sector through a cultural project that involves national and international partners from the fields of entrepreneurship, research and institutions.

The main objectives of the Foundation are:

  • TRAIN and qualify professionals capable of supporting companies in the olive sector
  • PROMOTE knowledge of EVOO and olive growing through courses and seminars of advanced and university level and through introductory and basic activities.
  • ENCOURAGE innovative research related to the important health benefits of EVOO and table olives
  • SPREAD the knowledge of EVOO and table olives among students, consumers, farmers, oil mill managers, buyers, HO.RE.CA. operators

Francesca selects, imports, and distributes high quality extra virgin olive oils in the Netherlands, bringing over 20 years of extensive expertise from farming to shelf. In 2021, she was awarded the Flos Olei Importer of the Year, recognizing her dedication to excellence. As professional olive oil taster, she trains retailers and industry professionals in quality assessment, sales, and retail techniques. Francesca collaborates as a docent with EVOSCHOOL in Rome and leads educational events for cooking academies and consumers.

Yiann Wang

Yiann Wang is a global marketing and strategic planning expert with over 20 years of experience across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She excels in driving market expansion, strategic partnerships, and organizational growth. As a partner in several startups and consulting firms, she leverages entrepreneurial vision and leadership to achieve impactful results. Since 2017, Yiann has transformed Taiwan's olive oil market, promoting premium extra virgin olive oil, professional certifications, and quality awareness.

Heinrich Zehetner

EVOO AMBASSADOR

Is an Austrian consultant with a deep passion for gastronomy and olive oil. Since 1987, he has been studying and tasting high-quality EVO oils, and since 2002 he has led the project "Olio Secondo Veronelli". He regularly holds seminars on "Olive Oil and the Culinary Arts" for professionals and enthusiasts alike. As a consultant for the Austrian Anti-Aging Academy. Recognized as one of the leading European olive oil experts by the Austrian and German gastronomic press, he has been dubbed "Ambassador of Olive Oil" and "Oleomaniac". He lives in Mondsee with his wife Karin, a marketing expert for the Salzburg Festival.

Liana Davlestina

EVOO AMBASSADOR

Liana Davletsina is the founder of Itališko skonio gurmanai, a Lithuanian company dedicated to selecting and promoting authentic Italian food products, with a special focus on high-quality extra virgin olive oils. Based in Vilnius, Liana brings a unique cross-cultural perspective shaped by her academic background in law at Vilnius University and her entrepreneurial training at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Since 2017, she has been a certified professional olive oil taster. Her deep sensory expertise allows her to guide consumers, chefs, and professionals in understanding and appreciating the complexity and value of extra virgin olive oil. As an EVOOSCHOOL Ambassador, Liana leads educational tastings and training sessions throughout the Baltic region, bridging the gap between Mediterranean producers and northern European markets.

Alexander Stabel

EVOO AMBASSADOR

(Born September 1, 1983 in Germany) is currently Head of Purchasing and Category Management for Grocery and Dry Goods at Alnatura GmbH overseeing a business volume of approximately €300 million and leading a team of 17 employees. In recent years, he has developed extensive expertise in the field of premium extra virgin olive oil, visiting numerous olive mills across Italy and contributing to the introduction of high-quality olive oils to the German market, with a strong focus on transparency, sustainability, and product origin. In 2025, he is attending the Professional Olive Oil Taster Course at EvooSchool / Unaprol in Rome, distinguishing himself as a promoter and ambassador of olive oil culture within the Alnatura group. He organizes tasting sessions and sensory training programs for hundreds of store managers, aimed at deepening their understanding of authentic extra virgin olive oil. Convinced that education and awareness are the keys to truly valuing authentic olive oil, Alexander Stabel passionately promotes a culture that celebrates and rewards the work of the families of olive growers who dedicate 365 days a year to caring for their trees and producing this exceptional product.
